Franco-American Dance Party 

The Franco-American Collection sponsors a variety of programs and events, which serve two primary purposes - to promote and preserve the Franco-American culture of Maine, and to collect further material for the Collection's holdings.

French Language

The Collection does not offer its own French language classes at this time.  However, we are happy to recommend the following local resources in central Maine:

For Children:

For Adults:

French Reacquisition Classes (Lewiston)

Music

Music is a key part of Franco-American culture, and the Collection occasionally hosts musicians, especially those who play traditional French or French-Canadian tunes.  The Collection also hosts regular, monthly French-language sing-along sessions, led by local volunteers.
